Low cost and simple radiated emission measurement by spectrum / signal analyzer and biconical antenna.
Application
If the environmental noise is sufficiently smaller than the radiated emission limit level, it is possible to perform simple radiated emission measurement even in a normal laboratory.
Solution
The radiated emission from the EUT is extracted by subtracting the measured value at EUT OFF (environmental noise) from the measured value at EUT ON.
(It is necessary to calculate after converting the unit to [uV / m] of linear rather than [dBuV / m] of logarithm, when subtracting.)
