Measure for digital broadcasting poor reception area
Application
Our handy spectrum analyzer (MSA438/MSA458) can measure wide range span(50kHz-3.3GHz) spectrum date.
Recently, it has been reported that there is stiil area of poor reception in inner-city area. This product have efficacy for digital boradcastion poor reception area. It is happened, despite there is enough reception level (40~50dB at end terminal), television not can recieve. To measure clearance of dropped ripple is required to solve the problem.
For brief sequence of measurement, Use the full span function in this spectrum analyzer. Indicate wide band spectrum. Narrow down the span. Detect a point of dropped noise. Moreover narrow down the span until the dropped noise is visible in this analyzer screen.
This analyzer is helpful for checking phenomenon of multipath and distortion by booster interference.
