However, it can be easily   measured using the anechoic box and MSA438TG. The measurement procedure is as follows:<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Place the two antennas to be tested with a certain distance in the anechoic box.<\/li>\n\n<li>Set the center frequency and span of the spectrum  analyzer to a band to be observed.<\/li>\n\n<li>The output of tracking generator and RF input of  the spectrum analyzer are directly connected using  a coaxial cable in the anechoic box,      and then the frequency characteristics of the sy stem is normalized using the function of spectrum ana lyzer. <\/li>\n\n<li>Connect the output of tracking generator to Ante nna 1. <\/li>\n\n<li>Connect the RF input of spectrum analyzer to Ante nna 2.<\/li>\n\n<li>Start the measurement.<\/li><\/ol><\/li>\n\n<li>\nAntenna gain can be calculated by the following equation.<br>\nAntenna gain [dB] = [measured level + space loss]  \/2 <\/li>\n\n<li>Space loss can be calculated by the following equation.<br>\nSpace loss[dB] = 20 x LOG [4\u03c0D\/\u03bb]<br>\n[But, D: distance between antennas (m),\u03bb: wavele ngth (m)]<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Refer to a technical report \"<a href=\"\/english\/tech\/technology\/emc_eng.html\">Near field and far field<\/a>\".<\/li>\n\n<li>When the antenna interval is 50cm in MY1530, t he practical   measurement frequency range is from 600 MHz to  3.3 GHz. <\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul><h2 class=\"vk_block-margin-lg--margin-top wp-block-heading\" id=\"vk-htags-a30111fe-a5e5-4fd5-ad18-d254999e95b4\">System configuration<\/h2><p>This system is an inexpensive tool by which the antenna
