In addition, RFIC for wireless LAN is built into various electronic devices besides information communication terminal, and the trend is getting stronger.<\/p>\n<p>A useful system when developing and evaluating a radio equipment with wireless LAN will be introduced in this application note.<\/p>\n\n\n<h2>Solution<\/h2>\n<h3>1.Cable connection diagram<\/h3>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/eng\/image\/application\/MIMO-LAN-00.gif\" alt=\"Figure:Cable connection diagram\" width=\"730\" height=\"342\">\n<p class=\"borderBox\"> By connecting DUT with RFIC for wireless LAN to an access point using  coaxial cables, and in the shielded environment, it is possible to test without being affected by external radio waves.  By attenuating power of each system independent using attenuators, it provides the environment for evaluating the receiving sensitivity and the error vector magnitude (EVM). <\/p>\n\n<h3>2.Wireless class=\"borderBox\"> If the coaxial connection is not possible, it is possible to test without being affected by external radio waves in an environment shielded by coupling a communication terminal to
