Seeing from the PC side, the USB device appears to be connected to the USB port. For this reason, the software such as MAS400 or MAS500 that controls the USB device can be used as it is.<\/p>\n<p>The specifications of Buffalo's LDV-2UH type will be described below as an example of a USB device server.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>LAN standard : IEEE802.3ab(1000BASE-T), IEEE802.3u(100BASE-TX), IEEE802.3(10BASE-T)<\/li>\n<li>Throughput : 1000\/100\/10Mbps (automatic recognition)<\/li>\n<li>LAN connector : RJ-45type 8-pin connector<\/li>\n<li>USB standard : USB2.0<\/li>\n<li>USB connector : USB A connector \u00d7 2<\/li>\n<li>OS : Windows7(32bit\/64bit), Vista(32bit), XP(32bit), MACOSX10.4\/10.5\/10.6<\/li>\n<li>Outside dimensions \/ Weight : 60(W)\u00d728(H)\u00d795(D)mm, 96g (exclude AC adapter)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/section>\n\n<section>\n<h2>Installation procedures<\/h2>\n<p>The installation procedures in case of using the USB device server described above will be shown below.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>First, connect the USB device to the PC via USB and install the necessary driver and software.<br>\nInstall MAS400 for MSA400 or MAS500 for MSA500 according to the operation manual respectively. Don\u2019t connect the USB device server at this time.<\/li>\n<li>Connect USB device server and router or switching hub with LAN cable.<\/li>\n<li>Connect USB device server and MSA400\/500 with USB cable.<\/li>\n<li>Turn on the power after connecting the AC adapter to the USB device server.<\/li>\n<li>Set the USB device server setup CD in the PC.<\/li>\n<li>Set up according to the USB device server instruction manual.<\/li>\n<li>Select and connect the USB device after activating the setup tool of the USB device server.<\/li>\n<li>Start the control after starting up MAS
